Testim uses AI-based Smart Locators instead of a single selector to identify elements. This improves the stability of a test allowing Testim to look at multiple attributes to find the correct target element. When code changes and an element diverges from the test baseline by more than 20%, Testim now adds a notification icon to the test step. Users can then inspect the screenshots directly from the notification to understand how the element changed. If desired, users can then reassign the locator or ask the AI to improve based on the new test run.
